What format is the export?

A single JSON file you download in the browser. The account export covers your profile, memberships, posts with their channel versions and media details, approval history, comments, masked API keys and audit entries. Tokens and password hashes are never included.

Is deleting an account reversible?

No. Your profile is anonymised, memberships are removed, API keys you created are revoked and you are signed out everywhere. There is no undo, which is why you have to type DELETE to confirm.

How do I remove PlanSend from Facebook or Instagram?

Disconnect the channel in PlanSend, which deletes the stored tokens at once, and also remove the PlanSend app in Facebook or Instagram settings. Meta also tells us when you do that, and we delete the connection on our side.

Export or delete your data

Everything here is self-serve and immediate. You do not need to email anyone to get your data out or to close your account.

Export your account

Open Settings, then Your account.
Select Export my data.
A JSON file downloads, named plansend-account-…json.

It contains your profile, the brands you belong to, invitations you sent, your posts with their per-channel versions and media details, approval events, comments, your API keys in masked form, and your audit entries.

Export one brand

An owner of a brand can export it on its own from the same page: members, invitations, channels without any credentials, media, posts, a summary of publishing jobs with the most recent 100, API keys and audit entries. The file is named after the brand.

Delete a brand

From Settings, then Your account, an owner who is also the person paying can delete a brand by typing DELETE. This removes its posts, channel connections, media files, invitations, API keys and history for good, and purges the uploaded files from storage.

If it is the only brand on a live subscription, cancel the subscription in the billing portal first — PlanSend refuses the deletion and says so.

Close your account

Also on Your account, and also confirmed by typing DELETE. Your profile is anonymised, your memberships are removed, API keys you created are revoked and every session is signed out.

Delete or hand over any brand you solely own first; PlanSend refuses and names them otherwise, so a client's calendar is never destroyed by somebody leaving.

Disconnecting social accounts

Disconnecting a channel deletes its stored tokens immediately. Removing PlanSend inside Facebook, Instagram or Threads settings is also honoured: those networks tell us, and we delete the connection on our side and show a status page for the request.
