Data Deletion Instructions

How to remove PlanSend's access to your social accounts and delete the data PlanSend holds about you.

What PlanSend stores

PlanSend is operated by Solo Soft; paid plans are billed by ULA SOFT LTD (company number 16531031, England and Wales). For each social account you connect we store an encrypted access token, the account's name and id, and the posts you schedule to it. For your PlanSend account we store your email address, name and avatar from Google sign-in, your workspaces, posts, media, review comments, approval history and billing metadata. Our Privacy Policy has the full list.

Disconnect a channel

  1. Sign in to PlanSend and open Settings → Channels.
  2. Find the channel you want to remove and choose Disconnect.
  3. The stored access token for that channel is deleted immediately. Posts still scheduled for that channel can no longer be published.

Disconnecting removes PlanSend's ability to post to that account. Posts that were already published stay on the network; delete them there if you no longer want them.

Remove PlanSend from Facebook or Instagram

You can also revoke PlanSend's access from Meta's side. Doing so invalidates the token we hold. Disconnect the channel in PlanSend as well, or email us, and we will delete the stored token and account identifiers.

Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Choose Business integrations (or Apps and websites, depending on your account).
  3. Find PlanSend, select it and choose Remove.
  4. If you also want to remove posts PlanSend published on your behalf, tick that option before you confirm.

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Website permissions (or Apps and websites) and open the Active tab.
  3. Find PlanSend and choose Remove.

Meta changes these menus from time to time; its help centre article on removing apps and websites has the current path.

Delete your PlanSend account

To delete your whole PlanSend account and everything in it:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line Delete my PlanSend account.
  2. Send it from the email address you use to sign in to PlanSend. If you cannot, tell us and we will verify your identity another way.
  3. We confirm receipt, cancel any active subscription, and delete your account, workspaces, posts, media, review links, comments and connected channels (including every access token) within 30 days. We email you when it is done.

If you own a workspace with other members, tell us whether the whole workspace should be deleted or ownership should pass to another member. Self-serve account deletion inside the app is on our roadmap; until it ships, this email process is the way to delete an account.

Reviewers and comments

Reviewers who approve or comment through a review link do not have accounts. If you left a name or comment through a review link and want it removed, email [email protected] with the review link or the workspace name and we will remove it within 30 days.

What we keep and for how long

  • Channel access tokens: deleted immediately on disconnect or account deletion.
  • Account, workspace and content data: deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
  • Backups: rotate within 30 days, so deleted data leaves our backups within 30 days.
  • Invoices and billing records: kept for 7 years, as UK tax law requires. They contain your billing name and address, not your content.
  • Technical logs: kept for 30 days.
