Getting started
Brands, team roles and reviewers
A brand is one workspace with its own calendar, channels, team and posting slots. People are invited into a brand with one of three roles. Reviewers are free on every plan.
What a brand is
Each brand is a separate workspace. It has its own calendar, its own connected channels, its own members, its own posting slots and its own time zone. Nothing is shared between brands except your subscription and the seats it pays for.
Switch between brands with the picker at the top of the sidebar. Owners can create another brand from the same menu, up to the number your plan allows.
The three roles
| Can | Owner | Editor | Reviewer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Write, edit and delete posts | Yes | Yes | No |
| Approve or request changes, and comment | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Create review links and schedule posts | Yes | Yes | No |
| Connect and disconnect channels | Yes | Yes | No |
| Retry a failed publish | Yes | Yes | No |
| Use AI Assist | Yes | Yes | No |
| Invite people and change roles | Yes | No | No |
| Brand name, time zone, approval rule, posting slots, avatar | Yes | No | No |
| Billing, API keys, brand creation and deletion | Yes | No | No |
A reviewer who signs in sees the calendar and every post, and can do exactly two things: record a decision and leave a comment. That is the safe role for a client who wants to look around.
Inviting someone
- Open Settings, then Invite a member. Only owners see this card.
- Type the exact Google address the person signs in with, and choose Editor or Reviewer · free.
- Select Create invitation. The link is emailed to them, and shown once on screen so you can send it yourself.
Invitations last seven days and can be used once. They must be accepted with the exact Google account you invited; another address is refused. Changing someone's role later, or removing them, is also on the Settings page. A brand always keeps at least one owner, and the person who pays cannot be removed.
Seats and what they cost
An editor seat is one person with the owner or editor role, counted once across every brand on your billing account. The owner occupies the first seat. So on Free and Solo, which include one editor seat, you are that seat and cannot invite an editor; invite the person as a reviewer, or move to Studio or above where editor seats are unlimited.
Reviewers are never counted, on any plan. Outstanding editor invitations hold a seat until they are accepted or expire.
Reviewers who never sign in
Most clients never need an account at all. Send them a private review link instead: it opens in any browser, needs no login, and captures their name with every comment and decision.
Deleting a brand
An owner who is also the person paying can delete a brand from Settings, then Your account, by typing DELETE to confirm. This removes its posts, channels, media, invitations, API keys and history. If it is the last brand on a live subscription, cancel the subscription in the billing portal first. See Export or delete your data.
Common questions
- Do reviewers count toward my plan?
- No. Only owners and editors use a seat. You can invite as many reviewers as you like on any plan, including Free.
- Can I move a brand to another owner?
- Not in this version. Owner transfer is not available yet, so a second owner cannot be added from the interface. Email [email protected] if you need a brand moved.
- Does each brand need its own subscription?
- No. One subscription covers every brand on your billing account, and your plan decides how many brands that is.
